Every month, a local musician performs their original music. Having listened closely, the comedians from local improv group The Local Music Scene then take the words and themes brought up through the songs and interview and use them as the inspiration for improvised scenes.

The Local Music Scene is: Sarah Arnold, Laura Berger, Breanna Cecile, Liz Council, Jeff Gyllen, Nathan Kelly, Kelsey McGregor, Erik Ostrom, Shea Roberts, Will Roberts, Philip Simondet. They are an improv group that has trained and performed at various local improv theater, including The Brave New Workshop, ComedySportz Twin Cities, HUGE Theater, and Jesters.

All of them either ARE local musicians or enjoy local music. At the VERY least, they’ve heard the term "local music.”
